Online Amish furniture retailer continues to climb in industry rankings

For the fourth year in a row, JMX Brands was named toInternet Retailer Magazine’s Second 500, which ranks North America’s fast-growing mid-tier Web merchants. JMX Brands jumped from 926 to 903 on the list, increasing from $3.8 million in sales in 2013 to $6 million in 2014. This also placed JMX Brands as the 29th fastest growing company included in the Second 500 and 20th fastest growing in the Web-only category.
JMX Brands, the largest Web-only retailer of Amish furniture at www.DutchCrafters.com, also placed 48 in the housewares/homes furnishings category, up from 54 the previous year.
The average growth rate of the Second 500 companies was 14.4 percent for 2014, which made JMX Brand’s 59.7 percent growth even more impressive.
To stand out in a hyper-competitive environment, JMX Brands has improved website functionality, including a responsive, mobile-friendly design; strengthened email communications; and aggressively expanded its social media presence, branching into unique platforms such as Polyvore and Houzz.
Though a Web-only retailer, JMX Brands understands the importance of building relationships, both with the 190 Amish furniture craft shops in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana and its customers.
